Lyrics:
What now, my love, now that you left me?
How can I live through another day
Watching my dreams turn into ashes
And all my hopes into bits of clay?
Once I could see, once I could feel
Now I’m numb, I’ve become unreal
I walk the night, oh, without a goal
Stripped of my heart, my soul
What now, my love, now that it’s over?
I feel the world closing in on me
Here comes the stars tumbling around me
And there’s the sky where the sea should be
What now, my love, now that you’re gone?
I’d be a fool to go on and on
No one would care, no one would cry
If I should live or die
What now, my love, now there is nothing?
Only my last goodbye
Only my last goodbye

I'm 60 years old and I know all musical styles. I've been listening to Elvis since I was 12 years old. I come from Switzerland (Lucerne). I appreciate any kind of good music. I also know all the songs by Johnny and June Cash-Carter (Great). However, Elvis remains the greatest musician and entertainer of all time. He implied all the power of his soul in all his songs. One could almost say: he gave away his whole heart to his listeners. So, in that way, this is definitely unique. Denis Herger

  2. Même quand je fume pas le pétard je kiffe écouter Elvis. Avec un bon casque un bon son et comme je l'ai dit je suis aux anges. Le moment où je préfère écouter Elvis c'est dans la rue.🤩

  3. Many, many years ago, I was engaged to marry a wonderful German gentleman. I broke off the engagement and he would play this song. Elvis was his favorite singer and he’d sing his songs to me. Not marrying him was the biggest mistake of my life. I think of him everyday. 🥲

  4. Elvis had a velvet voice capable of delivering the power when required. To this day i haven't heard another singer put as much emotion into a song, his voice was really on another level and he was able to effortlessly draw you in. Elvis band and the orchestra often go unmentioned, but they along with the backing singers help deliver a show that is truly a masterpiece of music.
