    ha-lee-ah-kah-LAH (Haleakala) is actually ha-lay-AH-kah-la, which is Hawaiian for 'house of the sun', and is the name of 1 of the 2 national parks in Hawaii.

  4. So cringe. We don’t pronounce “Ireland” with an Irish accent or “Australia” with an Aussie accent, so why is she pronouncing Hawaii as if she speaks Hawaiian? Its like a hearing a non-French speaking person say “Pah-ree”, when saying “Paris”. The reason why it is so cringe is because it sounds like you are trying to pass yourself off as a native speaker, when all you know is Aloha and Mahalo.

  16. As a Hawaiian, I would say that it is a very nice place to spend vacations, but to live it is somewhat boring, because the islands are quite small and are very far from the other countries, but still it is very nice

  23. Everyone, please pray for people in Hawaii and anywhere else people are worshipping water, nature, etc. They are actually worshipping marine spirits which is not good. I was watching a video of a woman talking about if Hawaii doesn't repent, judgement will come upon them. Please everyone, please pray for the people of Hawaii and anywhere else, practicing idolatry.
